Create election
In the tab > Elections you can create an election by clicking on the button (+) at the top right.
Now you can give the election a title, optionally add a description and further notes, the number of persons to be elected, a numbering of the candidates and whether and with which visibility the election should be included in the agenda.
Create ballot
As soon as there are candidates for election, you can create a ballot (+).
A dialogue window opens where you can define the title of the ballot (e.g. with numbering), the type of voting, the persons entitled to vote, the voting method and the 100% basis.
If you select the voting method "Yes per candidate" (or "No per candidate"), you must now specify the minimum an dmaximum number of votes that may be cast. The previous specification when creating the election has no influence on the individual ballot.
Carry out the ballot
After you have created the ballot, you can start > start voting
After enough votes have been cast, you can end > Voting and > Publish the results for the participants.
Adjust status/phase
To adjust the phase of an election process click on the colored button under Phase. There are three fixed phases:
- Searching for candidates
- In the election process
- Finished

- Under > Settings > Elections check the box "Put all candidates on the list of speakers".

Hints and tips
- You can change the status of the ballot from "On Candidate Search" to "On Ballot" and finally to "Completed" during the process described.
