At virtual/hybrid events, delegates usually have the right to set their own "present" status.
This is necessary in order to be admitted for voting and elections.
However, the presence status "present" does not guarantee that the delegates are actually physically sitting in front of the PC/laptop and following the event.
One way to recheck attendance would be:
- Before votes or elections, the "present" tick is removed from all delegates and other participants entitled to vote by the chair of the meeting in OpenSlides.
- Prior to an election, the moderation request to check the "present" box again.
