OpenSlides is intelligently coupled with the live conference via the speaker list.
Conditions:
Open the overview of the > Settings and go to > General:
Under > Live conference, select the option "Allow only current speakers and list of speakers managers to enter the live conference".
All persons on the speaker list will then automatically be authorized to enter the Jitsi conference. For example, during an ongoing speech, the next person can already enter the conference room to allow for a smooth transition.
It is important that the moderator instructs the participants accordingly to enter in good time and to keep the microphone switched off until the call.
Hints and tips
Previous speakers are still saved in the current speech list and are listed under "Last speakers". All persons who are listed there are still authorized to enter the video conference via the phone symbol. If you want to prevent this, the speech list should be continuously cleaned up by removing the speakers from the list of previous speakers [X].
