Yes per candidate
If you have selected the voting method "Yes per Candidate" (Confirmation Voting), you have the following additional options to set:
- General rejection
- General abstention
- Maximum and minimum number of votes
The votes are listed individually.
No per candidate
If you have selected the voting method "No per candidate" (strike-out voting), you have the following additional options to set:
- General approval
- General abstention
The votes for this option are calculated as follows:
- Sum = number of votes cast - number of deletions.
Ex. There are 3 people on the list. There are 10 ballots cast. 4 persons have "generally agreed", 5 persons have "deleted" A, 1 person has "deleted" B.
- A = 10-5 = 5
- B = 10-1 = 9
- C = 10-0 = 10
Yes/No per candidate
This voting method can be used to choose between "Yes" and "No".
Yes/No/abstention per candidate
This voting method can be used to choose between "Yes", "No" and "Abstain" for each individual candidate.
100% base
The 100% basis changes as follows:
- "Total votes including general no/abstain": the percentage given gives as much value to a vote for "general no" as a "yes" vote for an individual candidature.
- "All valid ballots": The percentage given for the "Yes" options gives equal weight to each vote for one of the electoral options and the percentage given for the General No/ Abstention indicates how many of those voting chose the general option.
- "All votes cast": The percentage given for the "Yes" options gives equal weight to each vote for one of the voting options and the percentage given for the General No/Declines indicates how many of those voting chose the general option.
- "Disabled (no percentages)": Only the number of votes and no percentage is reflected in the result.
Options:
General approval: Is only carried out for the voting method "No-Pro-Candidate" (e.g. strike-off elections). This option is necessary if you do not want to delete any of the candidates.
General rejection: This is only carried out for the voting method "Yes-Pro-Candidate". This option is necessary if you do not want to confirm any of the candidates. It is like a crossed-out (quasi invalid) ballot paper and therefore has no influence on the number of yes votes for the candidates.
General abstention: Is like a blank ballot paper and has no influence on the number of yes votes for the candidates.
