Technical Requirements

To participate in the meeting using OpenSlides, you will need:

  • a computer/laptop (recommended) or a tablet/smartphone
  • a stable internet connection, preferably via cable rather than wifi
  • a current and security-maintained browser, ideally Chrome; however, other browsers such as Firefox, Safari, Opera, or Edge are also supported; please update your respective browser to the latest version. The use of Internet Explorer is explicitly discouraged.


For virtual floor announcements, the following are also required:

  • Microphone and a camera (built-in or external).

On mobile devices, the view of the interface may differ slightly. The menu structure can be found under the hamburger menu icon.


Additional software installations are not necessary, as OpenSlides runs completely in the internet browser.


Attention: The use of VPN software with OpenSlides is not always possible. Please note when using service laptops!
