Sending access data by e-mail

OpenSlides does not automatically send access data, you can do this by yourself:

1) Selection
  • In the > Participant view, activate the > Multiple selection via the > 3-point menu in the top right-hand corner.
  • Now select one or more participants who are to receive an e-mail with their personal access data.
  • If you want to select all participants, click in the > 3-point menu > "Select all".
  • For a larger group:
    • Use the filters and search options to reduce the list to a subset.
    • The 3-dot menu refers to "Select all" and "Deselect all" to
    • the subset shown. This allows you to quickly include or exclude larger groups in the selection.
2) Send mail
  • Finally, click again in the > 3-point menu > "Send invitation e-mail".
3) Edit mail settings
  • You can adjust the text of the e-mail under > Settings > Participants > E-mail.
  • Also adjust the > sender name to keep the suspicion of spam low.
  • Under > Reply address you can enter your own e-mail address where you can receive feedback.
4) Test
Test the sending of the e-mail with an account.

Hints and tips

No PDF attachments can be sent with the invitation e-mail. Either use the file storage or send the invitation e-mail externally with your own mail programme (if necessary, export addresses via CSV beforehand).
