You can define and configure the workflows and thus the options for further handling of motions yourself:
Open the overview of Motions > 3-point menu top right > Workflows > Complex workflow > and add further states.
Then define:
- the permissions via the checkbox selection
- the colours for the view
- the logical sequences at the bottom of the overview table by clicking on "Next states".
In particular, you can activate the following permissions in the matrix:
- "Show state extension field" and "Show recommendation extension field" to make additions to the motion status. For example, the status "in progress" can be supplemented as desired to "in progress by the motion committee".
- The check mark for "Show recommendation extension field" must be set for the status for which the recommendation extension is to be enabled. This recommendation must then be selected accordingly in the motion.
- Participants have the possibility to support motions (and amendments) if they are in the status of a workflow with "Allow support" selected. In the settings under > Motions you also have to define how many supporters are required. If you leave this set to 0, the support function is disabled. Make sure that there are no access restrictions in the corresponding status!
- You can use the access restrictions to control who can see the motion in this status. The selection options are mainly defined by the assigned rights for the respective group.
- The motion preamble will only be shown if the current state of a motion has no possible next states.
Hints and Tips
-
If you add a completely new and individualised workflow, please contact us so we can activate it in the backend. Therefore if you only plan minor changes in contrast to the simple or complex workflow, it might be recommended to make adjustments to those.
