You can use OpenSlides to structure and organize the content of the meeting and integrate the virtual "stage" directly into OpenSlides as an "all-in-one" solution.
You or the delegates only need a PC or laptop with a single browser window open to follow the entire meeting or to participate actively in the form of speeches, voting and elections.
Another major advantage of this variant is that the speaker list is intelligently linked to the integrated Jitsi conference system. Only participants who are on the current speaker list can switch from "passively" watching the stream to the "active" video conference.
This method is very low-bandwidth, so that even several hundred to thousand participants can take part in the meeting without any problems.
Virtual events with your own video conference
For the virtual "stage", you use your own established conferencing system (BigBlueButton, Jitsi, MS Teams, WebEx, Zoom, Skype, GoToMeeting, etc.) in parallel to OpenSlides.
You view both programs
- either open in parallel on one screen in two browser windows
- or e.g. the video conference on the laptop, OpenSlides on a mobile device. The autopilot is the ideal compressed presentation for the delegates in this variant. Please note the technical requirements.
